when you hit a weight loss plateua you have to do the same thing you did on Day 1 -- go nuts.
on the first day of your fitness regimen you probably didn't eat a "little less" or simply take the stairs over the elevator. no. you threw out the ice cream, bought running shoes, and cancelled plans to get pizza.
plateaus are reminders that we have to "rev up" our appetite for sacrifice once again. maintaining is OK at our goal weight, but on the way there it's normal to turn up the heat at least a couple times to prevent backsliding.
to answer your question -- double down. as someone once said, "the best way to get over burnout is to work harder."
